Winter holidays even for non-skiers
If you are thinking that invrnental holidays are only for skiers, you are sadly mistaken.
In Andalo there are plenty of activities to do even if you don't ski or have children.
Here are some useful hints for organising your winter holidays 2023/24 :
1. SNOWSHOE EXCURSION
Walking off the beaten track in Paganella with snowshoes is an experience for everyone: expanses of snow, contact with nature and a panoramic view of the Brenta Dolomites.
Our Alpine Guides will introduce you to the flora and fauna of the area, the history of the Dolomites and the characteristics of the snow.

2. CROZ DEL RASAR VIEWPOINT
In the locality of Pian Dosson - at an altitude of 1450 metres above sea level - a path starts along a dirt road through the forest, which leads to the 'Croz del Rasar' vantage point.
From here, the view dominates the entire village of Andalo and the Brenta Dolomites towering above it. Amidst the beeches and firs, between the rustling of the trees and the chirping of the birds, we can fully enjoy the voice of nature.
The mid-mountain guide will introduce you to the flora and fauna of the area, the history of the Dolomites and the characteristics of the snow.

3. TRENTINO WINE AND FOOD
The atmosphere and welcome typical of the mountains, the unique view of the Brenta Dolomites, Lake Garda and the valleys of Trentino, and the moments spent with friends and family amidst snow and sun give unique emotions that make the stops in our refuges unforgettable. In Paganella, there are as many as 14 refuges, unique places that provide skiers and pedestrians with moments of relaxation in the sun and culinary stops under the banner of the best Trentino food and wine tradition.

4. WELLNESS CENTER ACQUAin

7. DINNER WITH THE SNOWCAT
How about extending your snow day into the evening?
Enjoy a starry panorama during an evening snowcat ride to the hut and savour the atmosphere that only the mountains can provide in winter.
The hut chef will offer you typical dishes, with revisited recipes from the folk tradition, local wines and a special atmosphere that will make the evening truly enjoyable.

8. SNOWCAT FOR A NIGHT
When the sun goes down, when the ski lifts stop, the snow groomers go into action on the slopes to ensure perfectly groomed slopes in the morning.
The work of the snowcat driver is hard precision work, and by being at their side you can find out how the snow plough and snow blower are operated, what the symbols on the display mean and all the secrets of this fantastic world.

9. UNESCO DOLOMITES EXHIBITION - until 29 February 2024
An exhibition illustrating the characteristics of the Dolomite landscapes and the main challenges posed by the Good presenting an original introduction to the knowledge of these extraordinary mountains.
