Aperitif with a view
What better break after a long morning skiing among the slopes of Paganella but to stop on top of the mountain at the Roda mountain hut for a little refreshment?
Planning a short stop we take off our skis, but soon discover we are in a magical place, one-of-a-kind, unique and we decide to stay and enjoy the sun.
We sit on the terrace warming up in the sun, and enjoy a plate of cold cuts and cheeses with a glass of 'Trento Doc'.
Here you feel like you rule the entire worldIn front of us is the view of the whole range of the Brenta Dolomites; unparalleled in the world and impossible to mistake with any other mountain range. But there's more; from the wooden terrace one can enjoy the most extraordinary panorama one could ever remember on a skiing day: Lake Garda from Riva way down to Sirmione, with a view as far as the Apennines, the Adige valley two thousand metres below us, the Dolomite massifs of Rosengarten, Latemar Marmolada and Pale di San Martino, to the north the mountains reach up to the Austrian border and the peaks around Stubai.
The delights of Trentino restore our strength; this ambience with its landscape, the high altitude sun and the expertly selected lounge music relax our minds giving us probably the most memorable aperitif with a view of the entire winter season.
