A unique space that promotes reading!
At 1,333 metres, surrounded by snow and mountains, there is a special igloo that houses books, stories and lots of imagination.
The Biblioigloo is a transparent dome-shaped library, created in 2014 thanks to Funivie Valle Bianca and Biblioteche della Paganella, with the patronage of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation.
Here you will find books, comics, magazines and new publications to browse through on site or take home with your free card. There is also Wi-Fi and access to MLOL, Italy's largest digital library.
But it's not just about reading: at the Biblioigloo, children can create, discover and experiment in the Bibliolab (from 4 years old), creative workshops inspired by the mountains, nature and imagination.
For younger children (0-3 years), there is also Biblioplay, a space designed for them to take their first steps among sensory games, lights and colours.
