1. HISTORY: The city's history has been shaped by the prince bishops who, for several centuries, were the undisputed lords of a place where northern Europe meets the Mediterranean, as was literally the case in the 16 th century when it hosted the Council of Trent, the ecumenical council of the Catholic Church.
 
2. CULTURE:

From the internationally renowned, multi-award-winning Muse museum of natural sciences to the Buonconsiglio castle and the important Museo Diocesano, Trento is a city of culture.

How to get to Trento?
From Andalo, Trento is just 40 minutes away by car, or take public transport and explore the city on foot. The railway and coach stations are just a 10-minute walk from Piazza Duomo and all of the main places of interest can be easily reached on foot.
